Turn a long skirt into a peplum skirt

Man! I'm sorry for the second picture's extremely low quality!

Hello ladies. So this is my first re-fashion post. Recently I bought a black peplum skirt for $20 approximately, and was happy with my purchase. But then I saw this long skirt among my forgotten clothes and I thought I could make a similar peplum skirt with it. And I did! It was actually pretty easy. I can summarize it in 4 easy steps, which are:

1.-Cut the bottom part for the peplum.
2.-Ruffle the "peplum".
3.-Sew the peplum on top of the skirt.
4.-Sew the rest of the skirt so it's more like a pencil skirt and then sew a hem

And you're done! That's pretty much it :) It was so easy and way cheaper than buying it from a fashion store. Unfortunately, my skirt turned out a littletoo short, so I'll have to give it out to a shorter girl, I guess :P Modest is hottest, right?
