I thrifted these shoes like a year ago in Chihuahua. They were so cheap that I never thought they could be designer shoes. They had a very big "Sam Edelman" written on the insole, but I had no idea who he was. Time passed by and my shoes started to get stained of I don't know what, I tried to "wash" them, but they turned worse! :( When I did a research to see if there was something about that Sam Edelman and his shoes...ohmy! I realized I have had snakesin on my feet. As it was the first time I had aything made of snakesin, I didn't know what it was like, so when I bought them I thought they were a cheap copy of a snakeskin LOL. Had I known, I would have taken better care of them. Well, first, I wouldn't have bought them. This picture was a little before they died. You can see they were awful already. But how I loved them!
Bah, I'm not that sad, they were already horrible, but now I think I could have done something to save them, maybe there was a useful DIY out there, I don't know.
What do you think about snakesin items? What would have you done in my case?
